Week 6 Post- Taryn

For sake of tangibly moving towards identifying a structure, I have decided to organize my thoughts, as well as, the footage itself, around several key categories. These categories operate as a guide for connecting all the parts of what I have. First, my plan is to pull the selects of interviews into the following categories: Boi/Masculine of Center/ Female Masculinity, Artists and Performers, Social Activism, and Entrepreneurship of small business.

I would also like to share my desires for incorporating motion typography and a reoccurring motif. The typography will be specific terms associated with my film and its community. I am in the process of identifying and collecting the terms, but my vision is to have between five and eight words highlighted and defined on screen, through motion graphics. My thoughts around the reoccurring motif are that it will have some significant engagement with the audience. I am thinking it could be a moment for breathing room or at least be a sort of creative glue to the different aspects of the film. I have a lot of street band footage and at this point, I am considering whether this could be a viable option for the motif.  I see the street band footage being shown in Black and white, for about 20-30 seconds in between the previously mentioned categories. My rough cut scenes today show much of what I just mentioned.
