Week 6- Michelle

Sorry that this post is late, I complete lost track of time while I was editing.  Actually,
loosing track of time while editing has been kind of a theme this past week.  I don’t think I would even want to know how many hours I have spent in front of a computer.  Fortunately, I have a lot to show for it. My Master Log is slowly getting filled in. I am now done with selects for all my Panama Scenes, and nearly done with rough cuts.

Unfortunately,I have been spending so much time on the computer that I seem to have aggravated my wrist and elbow. I have been going to acupuncture to mitigate the pain and have switched to using a Wacom tablet when possible. It is not as efficient as using a mouse to edit, but at least it doesn't hurt.
I still feel good about being able to show an assembly before Thanksgiving. This coming week and mostly the weekend will be dedicated to finishing the rough cuts of scenes and delving into cutting selects for the interviews, which should be fairly quick considering I already did so on paper.

As I have mentioned before there was one full day that I did not get audio. This is proving to be extremely frustrating now. I am trying to figure out the best way to approach these scenes. Do you think I should still cut them as a rough scene and then try to add sound or voice over later? Or should I just not do anything with them and see if I feel like I need them at the end?
