JR: joyriding. CR: city-riding.

Opening scene before the credits
Establishing shots of JR spaces (boys/men, vast empty spaces, cars)
Rakan & friend get in car and begin joyriding (Go Pro footage / from inside the car)

Opening credits & title - Hajwalah

Scene 1 - Rakan driving at night - he's talking about a cop incident, his arrest, and how it didn't stop him from continuing.
 -Rakan walking, driving around the city, going to work/home, etc.
 -Back to Rakan talking about JR and that he enjoys it as a hobby, compares it to other sports and motorsports..
 -JR footage from Rakan

Transition into city-riding
Scene 2 - CR from airport (+ radio in the background)
-More CR (radio fades out while channels intercept, then narration begins)
-Short rhetorical questioning about Riyadh
-More CR (+ music/radio)

Transition into old Riyadh
Scene 3 - Archival footage of Riyadh (+ narration)
-Archival footage transitions into map animation of Riyadh growth
-Back to present-day Riyadh

Scene 4 - Riyadh city montage (+ music) <maybe this can go in the opening credits scene - not yet sure where this montage belongs, maybe also part of scene 3)

Scene 5 - Back to Rakan. Different location: garden, daytime.
-Rakan talks about Saudi drifting, youtube, Hungarian drifters, etc.
-Cutaways from sites, blogs, channels.
-Conversation with 2 cameramen unedited. They are asking Rakan to talk about Riyadh's significance.

Scene 6 - Rakan footage montage: crazy, more outside the car, more cars.
-(+ Narration begins as nat sounds fade: reflection on this overall scene as a spectacle, and its policing)

Scene 7 - Cut to media coverage (+ dramatic, criminalizing and fear-mongering sounds/beats)
-They talk about the motivations being homosexuality and drugs.
-Cutaways of JR footage (+ voice-over of people conversing about JR - some in a derogatory manner, some in defense)

Scene 8 - Rakan gaming (+ voice of Rakan from another shoot talking about stopping JR so he doesn't lose his job. Also about saving money to buy a car)
-Just gaming footage, Rakan voice-over about how this is a compensation, then fades out (+ narration addresses the imagined worlds and spaces)
-Morphing into Rakan's footage (+ narration continues)
-Morphing into CR footage - dashboard - (+ narration continues)

Scene 9 - Riyadh is like a game/virtual world
-Window (+ radio/music)
-(+ conversation about Riyadh, endless city..)
-(+ Narration about Riyadh and our imagined Riyadh ~ how do we imagine the city? ~ why do I want to see Riyadh through Rakan's lens? ~ can I connect to Riyadh more by seeing it through Rakan's lens? ~ do we have a shared plight? ~ We both are going in circles ~ so is Riyadh ~ )

Scene 10 -Last scene- Rakan in the car talking about how it's not a choice.
-Window CR footage - closing credits on the screen of night window CR footage.
