I don’t
know...
It seems that art is in constant resistance to schedules.
This week I edited what I think could be the opening scene of my documentary,
this was not planned for this week, but some reason it happened. I was going
through my footage to see how I was doing and became attracted to build my
scene of the radio show.
This scene
consists in having the radio show host (Inés Quiles) talking to a spokesperson
from the Association of Industrials. Here Quiles debates the argument of the
spokesperson, which it was attracting more foreign investment to Puerto Rico.
Even though, the scene is not final. The scene has potential for tension. The scene can really establish the problematic of the whole documentary.
I also did
finished labeling, marking and identifying all of my sit-down footage. The
footage is divided by subject and labeled by priority. Even though, it took me
a lot of work time to do this, I am sure that the meticulous organization is going to help me in the near future to keep building my documentary film.
Overall, editing the radio show scene has made me more confident and now I am
more pumped up to keep going!
