Now that I have a post production schedule in writing, I am trying my best to stay on track. This has proven to be a struggle already, as I am already 3 days behind schedule. However, I should have time to catch up this coming weekend.
I did reach out to Patricia, The PHD Anthro student making a film about a fashion in Peru. I hope to share some ideas with her regarding how to approach the structure of my film and also be social conscious.
I have also been eager to watch other films that have similar themes but I have not been able to find any that I think are well done. I have found a few about coffee production, cotton or sugar. But most or done in a journalistic style that are much more didactic and informative pieces.
I reworked my Master log this week to make it something I can utilize throughout post production. I added a few more columns that I can mark off when a certain task is completed.
I also decided not to waste my time transcribing all of my interviews.
Fortunately, I already completed the most important interviews from Panama but I have 5 more interviews from industry professionals that are 2 hours each that I am going to put on hold until I decided if I am going to use it for the film or not.
I am eager and anxious to start cutting selects!
