Egill: Notes from the photo side

After my portfolio reviews at the Eddie Adams Workshop, I have much work to do. The take-home is doing a better job with editing. Thus, I am going to restructure my portfolio/website into the following categories:

I am making a note to self to ask Irene about platforms. I use the simple and minimalistic Indexhibit. 

Now to moving images. Below is the drafted scene structure of my film:

Scene I: Intro to place.
   Act 1: Age and Kristian on a boat, something is spotted, grab gun in excitement. 
   Act 2: They wait and search. Close up of gun. 
   Act 3: They return. Sense of place. Icebergs and ocean. 

Scene II: Intro to characters.
  Act 1: Lea's one sentence. 
  Act 2: Donny one sentence.  
  Act 3: Nanna one sentence. 
  Act 4: Scene with Kristian in a window. 

Scene III: Âge.
   Act 1: Time laps of the village.
   Act 2: Age at construction work.  
   Act 3: Age speaks to the old man.

Scene IV: Church.
   Act 1: Clock ticks and bell rings.  
   Act 2: Interview with Donny. Explaining his position.  
   Act 3: Church ceremony.   

Scene V: Tourists. 
   Act 1: Tourists arrive.  Master seen from west. 
   Act 2: Close up of police stamping passports. 
   Act 3: The tourists spread around town. 
   Act 4: Tourists taking pictures of Sara, short interview with her. 

Scene VI: Emigration. 
   Act 1: Lea talks about how young people have left. 
   Act 2: Nanna segir frá sínu ferðalagi og ólíkar langanir.
   Act 3: Nanna og Emil.

Scene VII: Donny and the surgery. 
   Act 1: At work, takes the phone.
   Act 2: Retells the conversation. 
   Act 3: Close up of him.

Scene VIII: Fire!
   Act 1: The warning. 
   Act 2: The fire fighters get ready. 
   Act 3: Kristian fighting the fire. 
   Act 4: Children taking pictures. 
   Act 5: Âge strolles the sene.
   Act 6: Kristian after work, close up, has become a man now.

Scene IX: Donny hike. Sense of place. 
   Act 1: Donny hikes in the snow. Explains why we have a gun.
   Act 2: Starts shooting.
   Act 3: 

Scene X: The boat arrives.   
   Act 1: Days pass. Boat arrives.  
   Act 2: The captain explains. 
   Act 3: Transitions to Nanna. Sad.

Scene XI: Nanna goes abroad. 
   Act 1: Leaves the house. 
   Act 2: Goes on board. 
   Act 3: The dogs watch the boat sail away. 

Scene XII: Animation. Where are they now?
