Cecily's Scene List

After going through my footage this week, I have determined that I need to be spending more time, EVERY DAY, with my footage.  It is so easy to get lost in the bins and where you imagine you'll put something and how after just a couple of days you forget when you vowed to remember.  In any case,  I am still quite unsure about how my scenes will come together as a film.  For the moment I have a collection of stellar interviews coupled with lots of scenery and still shots, and I need to find a way to marry the two comfortably.  I imagine that I will start building my scenes and then start to figure out what I might be lacking in time to go home and hopefully gather what I need for pick up shots and interviews.  At present I have decided I will likely divide the film into four sections which will correlate to the medicine wheel model for health.  I am not sure if I will be particularly deliberate in that division by expressing it on screen, but I do know I want it to make a marked appearance in one way or another.  That being said, I have for now organized my footage by location. The number of clips for each is listed in parenthesis, if more than one clip.

This list does not include the footage from my time with the Lacrosse Camp or my GoPro footage from the river, nor my GoPro footage from mounting the camera to my car while driving all over SoDak.  I also have GoPro footage from the People's Climate Justice March in NYC, but I can't get any of the GoPro footage to work in FCP.  I will troubleshoot with you all tomorrow or at my meeting with Tristan.
